UPLink, an affiliate of the Davos World Economic Forum, has signed a cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Economy and Planning of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The goal of this agreement is to expand the range of innovative solutions for sustainable development. In the presence of a number of representatives from both sides, Faisal bin Fadhil Al-Ibrahim, Minister of Economy and Planning of Saudi Arabia, and Borge Brende, President of the Davos World Economic Forum, signed the agreement.
The Saudi Ministry of Agriculture intends to discuss and study common issues in the area of food security, food waste recycling, food stability and climatic smart agriculture as a part of the efforts the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is making to achieve the Agenda for Sustainable Development 2030 on a local and international level.
