The Oman Ministry of Labour signed an agreement today with the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (Madayn) to establish a system for the empowerment of Omani workers at medium and top-level positions within the industrial communities managed by Madayn. According to the agreement, different industrial firms investing in Madayin’s 12 hubs, which house 2,070 manufacturing facilities serving the commercial, logistics, and converting industries, will provide maximum employment for Omani youth.
In the present day, approximately 23,000 Omanis are working at the cities within the Madayin province. In order to scale up the Omanisation of jobs, Madayn is working with the Industrial Innovation Academy. During today’s signing ceremony, Dr. Mahad Said Ba’Owain, Minister of Labour, and Hilal Hamad Al Hosni, CEO of Madayn, signed the agreement.
